Oh Wow!

Arrived in Kathmandu today, holy smokes, the contrast from Doha to Kathmandu is unbelievable. After getting thru customs and walked outside it was a bit of a shock. I mean pure chaos! We loaded up our bags in a taxi and off we went. How there aren’t more accidents with the sheer volume of motorbikes, cars and people going any direction at every possible angle is baffling. Third World for sure, pictures can describe much better than I can.

                                    This was brought out as dessert, Some kind of grain with Sugar




Met with our guide today and plans have changed, instead of flying to Lukla and beginning our trek on Monday, we are now on a helicopter flying out Sunday morning. Half day today and tomorrow is PLENTY for us in Kathmandu!
